Information and Media Strategy

The United Zimbabwe Alliance (UZA) announces the appointment of Dr. Tadini Wenyika Masaya as the Secretary for Information and Media in our Shadow Cabinet. This marks a significant milestone in UZA's mission to offer competent, accountable and visionary leadership that Zimbabwe desperately needs.

Dr. Masaya, a distinguished scientist, communications expert and political analyst, brings a wealth of experience and insight to this critical role. His expertise and leadership are a testament to UZA’s commitment to assembling a capable team to challenge the status quo and present a viable alternative government for Zimbabwe. As Secretary for Information and Media, Dr. Masaya will spearhead strategies to ensure transparency, enhance citizen engagement and uphold the principles of free and responsible media.

The Shadow Cabinet is an essential element of UZA's political agenda, designed to hold the current government accountable and demonstrate the practical solutions our party offers for the challenges Zimbabwe faces. The Office of the President reaffirms that the appointment of Dr. Masaya is the first of many strategic decisions aimed at building a competent leadership team by 2025, ready to restore dignity, opportunity and prosperity for all Zimbabweans.

Dr. Masaya’s appointment reflects our belief in leadership that prioritises people over power and service over self-interest. This is a call to action for every Zimbabwean to rally behind a movement that is prepared to work tirelessly for a Zimbabwe that is transparent, inclusive and driven by the aspirations of its people.

The United Zimbabwe Alliance remains steadfast in its vision for a united and prosperous Zimbabwe. Together, we will continue building a government-in-waiting that is ready to lead with integrity and a clear focus on delivering meaningful change.
